Tiffany To Open A Second Store In Toronto

2008-tiff.jpgTiffany & Co. today announced plans for a spring 2009 opening of an approximately 6,200-square-foot store in Yorkdale Shopping Centre, one of Canada’s premier shopping destinations, located at Dufferin Street and Highway 401 in the Greater Toronto area. Owned and managed by Oxford Properties Group, Yorkdale’s architecturally stunning interior was expanded in 2005 to encompass 1.6 million square feet, with a soaring 60-foot-high glass atrium and newly designed wing to include luxury retailers. 2008-harry-winston-2oth.jpgTo commemorate the 20 year anniversary of the Premier Excenter Perpetual Calendar Harry Winston have produced a limited edition of 20 pieces. The limited edition timepiece is made from platinum and has a unique open dial feature which allows one to see the retrograde mechanism. The dial and material highlights similarities between this limited edition and the original timepiece.

 

 

 

The original Excenter Perpetual Calendar with its innovation design was the pioneering timepiece that established Harry Winston’s identity as a master watchmaker. It was also one of the first timepieces to introduce and popularize retrograde indicators.

Vacheron Constantin opens a second exclusive boutique in Hong Kong

The world’s most famous watch manufacturer with over 250 years of uninterrupted history, Vacheron Constantin opened its second exclusive boutique in Hong Kong.  Following the opening of the first exclusive Vacheron Constantin boutique in   Hong Kong in May 2004 at Ocean Terminal in Kowloon, the brand has just opened its second, at Lee Theatre Plaza, 99 Percival Street on prestigious Causeway Bay Avenue, which marks the brand’s 10th in China, and the 18th worldwide.

Severin Wunderman died at the age of 69 at his vacation home in Nice resulting from a severe stroke. The owner of Corum since 2000, Severin revitalized and re- established the Corum Brand with his creativity and ingenuity. Severin was a man of the Arts and Culture whose personality and charisma influenced his innovative designs which elevated him to an Icon in the watchmaking industry.
